Happier At Home - review
"One sunday afternoon, as she unloaded the dishwasher, Gretchen Rubin felt hit by a wave of homesickness. Homesick...why? She was standing right in her own kitchen. She felt homesick, she realized, with love for home, itself. 'Of all the elements of a happy life', she thought, 'my home is the most important.' In a flash, she decided to undertake a new happiness project, and this time, to focus on home." (portion from the back cover of the book)
Gretchen Rubin dedicates a year (September to August) to focus on making her home a happier place to live for herself as well as her family. Each month, Gretchen focuses on a particular area within her home...Possessions, Marriage, Parenthood, Family, Time, etc. If you enjoyed her bestselling book 'The Happiness Project', you will more than likely enjoy 'Happier At Home'.
I give this book a 3 out of 5 rating. For me it was a so-so read and some of the chapters were slow moving.
(I received this book for free from WaterBrook Multnomah Publishing Group for this review)
