Wrap-up Week 34

Another good week of lessons...

MATH:  We are continuing Life of Fred - Dogs as well as worksheet reviews.

LANGUAGE ARTS:  Vocabulary Cartoons is, once again, a huge hit.  The kids finished up the second set of words and completed the 2nd review.  Daily Grams is also a success.  I have decided to order the Teacher's Book for Grade 3 that goes along with the Daily Grams.  It should be here in about 10 days.

The kids also did some image drawings as well as homonyms.

READING:  Both Nick and Sam have been working on chapter books this week and have enjoyed learning about Neil Armstrong and Dr. Seuss (Nick) as well as Sacagawea (Sam).  They ended the week with a book report.  Nick chose Dr. Seuss and Sam chose Sacagawea.

ART:  The kids were asked to make a picture from shapes and they designed creatures from clay.

DELIGHT DIRECTED:  Samantha made some puppets and Nick made spacecrafts.

Not sure if this would count as a field-trip, but Nick got braces on Wednesday.  He learned how braces are put on and asked a lot of questions.  So, knowing that Nickolas learned something new, I think I will count it as part of homeschool.
