Election Day in our town

Yesterday was Election Day in our town.  Well, actually in most towns in NH.  This is an annual activity and each town votes on the year's budget, warrant articles and department officers.

In most States, you will find city councils in each of the towns/cities.  Here in NH it is quite different.  You will find in most towns, not including the smaller ones, a Town Manager, 3-5 Selectmen, Budget Committee, Planning Board, Zoning Board, Road Agent, Trustees of the Trust Funds, Cemetery Trustees, Library Trustees, Moderator, Town Clerk, Tax Collector, Supervisors of the Checklist.  You will also find a Police Chief (can be voted in or appointed), Recycle Center (aka Transfer Station), Volunteer Fire and Ambulance (mostly in towns, not in major cities), Fire Warden, Recreation Department.

For your viewing pleasure, here is the ballot with results.  Interesting to say the least!  If you have any questions, please leave them in the comment section and I will answer them as best as I can!
