Saturday is pretty busy for us...probably for most families too!  We try to get all of our errands completed on Saturdays and sometimes it can be very tiring.  A lot of driving involved and a lot of patience too!

One of our favorite places that we go to on Saturday is the Canaan Library. As you can tell from the below picture, we like to have our bags full of books.  Not shown in the picture are 2 more bags of books.  This is how we keep the library books separate from our own books.

After the library, we go grocery shopping.  There are times that I want to pull my hair out because the kids are not cooperating and there are times when shopping goes smooth and easy.  Today, the shopping experience was a little bit of both.  One of the items that I purchased was cut flowers for Sam.  Last week she asked for daffodils and today she asked for tulips.

Glad to know she likes flowers, because we are going to be planting several varieties this year (whenever the ground thaws)

This afternoon we had planned on working outside.  The yard needs some loving care and sprucing up a bit.  Those plans were nixed due to the wind.  Hopefully this week coming up or even next weekend we will be able to do yard to get ready for my parents visit.
